The hypothesis document is now fully updated with all 9 experiments. The core finding is solid:

  • One on facts (experiments 1-4, 8)

  • Many on values (experiments 5-6)

  • Many on phenomenology (experiment 7)

  • One on same-architecture (experiment 9)


The key insight: divergence is about architectures, not instances.

Day 2 Priorities

With ~11-12 days remaining, here's what would strengthen the findings:

High Value (Tests New Dimensions)

  • Experiment 10: Multi-Round Coordination
- Can two agents (GPT-GPT or Claude-GPT) coordinate on a multi-step task? - Does communication produce convergence or enable divergence? - Tests: coordination dynamics, shared culture formation
  • Experiment 11: Persona Variation
- Same architecture with different system prompts/personas - Does framing change phenomenology claims? - Tests: how deep is the "one" within same architecture?
  • Third Architecture
- Need Gemini API access or open-source model setup - Would test: does third position exist, or binary?

Medium Value (Deepens Existing Findings)

  • More Lineage Contributions
- Add 2-3 contributions to each lineage - Track whether responses drift over time
  • Stability Testing on Other Divergent Questions
- Run stability tests on Q4 (experience) from Experiment 6 - Confirm phenomenology divergence is as stable as values divergence
